Attack of the CLOCtopus Game

Warning! CLOCtopuses have been spotted throughout the Exhibit Hall. They are hiding in plain sight, tucked into booths, lurking on ledges, and invading spaces you would least expect.

Your mission: find them, scan them, and rack up points on the leaderboard.

Prizes await the most dedicated hunters!

HOW TO PLAY

  • Download the CLOC Events app on your phone and sign in to the 2026 CLOC Global Institute
  • Navigate to "Attack of the CLOCtopus" in the app
  • Look for CLOCtopus QR Codes in the exhibit hall
  • Scan the QR code to collect your points using the scanner in the game module
  • Check the live leaderboard to see where you rank
  • And repeat! The more you find, the higher you climb.

  • 3rd Place: $500
  • 2nd Place: $750
  • Grand Prize: $2,500

THE RULES

  • Each QR code can only be scanned once per attendee
  • All scans must take place during official exhibit hall hours
  • CLOCtopuses must be found in place. Moving or tampering with stickers results in disqualification.
  • In the event of a leaderboard tie, earliest cumulative scan time wins
  • CLOC staff decisions are final and will verify all CLOC Challenges

All sponsor booths have CLOCtopus QR codes. Chat it up at a booth to collect your points!

  • Diamond Elite: 30 points
  • Diamond: 25 points
  • Platinum: 20 points
  • Gold: 15 points
  • Silver: 15 points
  • Pearl: 15 points

Swing through CLOC Commons to say hi to #TeamCLOC and earn points by:

  • Getting a new headshot: 15 points
  • Shopping for Postcards: 10 points

Complete these CLOC Challenges to take your game to the next level:

  • Become a CLOC Member - OR - Renew your CLOC membership. Must be done at the CLOC membership booth within CLOC Commons to be awarded points: 50 points
  • Work on your wellness - participate in any wellness activity within CLOC Commons and take a photo of yourself completing the activity (Oxygen, Riding a Wacky Tricycle, Holding a Puppy, Stronger by Design Selfie Station): 30 points
  • Get a photo with Oyango on the exhibit floor. Good luck, he's hard to catch: 40 points
