On Monday, May 11, 2026, up to 100 CLOC Global Institute attendees will participate in a hands-on service project with Chicago local nonprofit My Block, My Hood, My City.

We will spend the day supporting one of their neighborhood block clubs on Chicago’s South and West sides, helping residents strengthen and beautify their block through practical, community-led improvement work. This is a meaningful opportunity to roll up your sleeves alongside fellow CLOC community members and give back to the greater Chicago community in a tangible way.

Volunteer activities will focus on outdoor cleanup and beautification and may include cleaning alleys, streets, and vacant lots, picking up litter, cutting back overgrowth, mowing lawns, and planting flowers. No special experience is required, just a willingness to help, work as a team, and contribute where needed.

Volunteer Check-in

8:00 AM- 11:30 AM

Volunteers will check-in for the bus at 8:00 AM with a planned departure of 8:30 AM. Buses are scheduled to return to the McCormick at 11:30 AM.
