Community Access Program

Need help getting to CGI this year?

The Community Access Program (CAP) is a CLOC Cares program implemented by the Inclusion & Social Impact Council. CAP helps remove financial and employment related barriers to attending the CLOC Global Institute. CAP reflects CLOC’s commitment to creating a more accessible and inclusive community where legal operations professionals at all stages of their careers can learn, connect, and grow.

Through CAP, CLOC will offer a limited number of supported spots for eligible applicants who might not otherwise be able to attend CGI 2026.

Benefits

    • Applicants may request any of the following accommodations as part of their Community Access Program application. Final awards will be determined based on demonstrated need and the total number of applicants.
    • A complimentary all access registration to CGI 2026
Housing for up to 4 nights at the designated conference hotel
Travel reimbursement of up to $500 USD per participant, processed after the conference based on submitted receipts and CLOC’s reimbursement guidelines
    • These benefits are intended to reduce the largest cost barriers to attendance. Recipients will be responsible for any additional expenses not covered by the program, such as meals outside conference offerings, CLOC Academy courses, incidentals, and any personal travel add ons.

How the Program Works

Applications open February 2, 2026.

The Community Access Program is designed for CLOC members who:

  • Are current or aspiring legal operations professionals (You design, manage, or improve the business and operations of legal work within your current or most recent role and do not liaise with external clients).
  • Are facing financial or employment related barriers that make it difficult to attend CGI, such as:
    • Economic hardship
    • Unemployment or underemployment
    • Little or no employer funding for professional development and conference travel
    • Are able to attend CGI 2026 in person if selected

We welcome applications from professionals in corporate legal departments, government, nonprofit organizations, higher education, law firm employees whose primary focus is internal legal operations, as well as those transitioning into legal operations. (This opportunity does not include professionals whose primary function is to develop, market, or deliver products, services, or expertise that help legal teams operate more effectively across their organizations.)

If you are not currently a CLOC member, you may still submit an application. Membership details for selected applicants will be handled in line with CLOC’s membership policies.
